A. Oooo thats gonna be so hott!! Wear a brightly colored leotard over some bright tights or leggings with legwarmers and keds or some other white tennis shoe. And wear the sweatband around your head with a high side ponytail with a big scrunchie. You could also wear a loose t-shirt over it.

A. Some things have made our lives easier. Simpler? Anytime an appliance comes with an instruction book larger than it is... Computers, if used as intended back in the 80's would simplify our lives-but like every other "new and improved" model it seems the further we go away from the original purpose the more complicated and time-consuming the product becomes. I recently purchased a gas stove. I studied all the stoves on the market because I did NOT want bells and whistles. I wanted a plain, simple appliance that would work if we lost electric power. Well, it would work-partially. The oven does not have a pilot light but is regulated by an electrical source, if the power goes out, the oven quits working. So, who really benefits… [cont.]

The winter of 1981-2 was very snowy, the worst year i can remember, though i lived a bit further north, in south derbyshire. it started snowing on december the thirteenth, and there was hoar frost and freezing fog around well into february. there was heavy snow in the february of 1987 or 88, but it only lasted about a week.

A. I went to UofSC in 1981. There was no orientation - at least not one I knew about. There was nothing. I registered for classes, got a schedule, and went to class. If you were lucky, an upperclassman or two would help you out. If you were unlucky, they'd trip you up for fun. Watch the beginning of Revenge of the Nerds (1st one) - that was in about the period. You showed up and figured it out - fast. Note: I was one of the nerds. Computer using nerd in '81 - and in the band.

I doubt any survivors would still hold allegiance to their nations, because there would be no nations, no taxes and no government.
